The information is written in a manner that is understandable to all. You did a fabulous job of explaining this very complex information with analogies that will enable all your readers to understand how our food choices impact our health. You have plenty of science to back up your statements and this book should make most people wonder why all health care providers are not on board with you!

I just completed your book, Edibolic Stress, and all I can say is WOW! You laid out very clear, concise, and above all, scientifically founded arguments. What eye-opening revelations - not only that we are being duped by the commercial food industry, but that preventive Western medicine regularly operates on such shaky premises. Oh yeah, perhaps worst of all, that WE ALL BOUGHT INTO IT! But hopefully not anymore. I know my next trip to the grocery store will be very different!

Dr Rothmans Edibolic Stress is an amazing informative book everyone interested in good health should read. Edibolic Stress is a must read. He explains in laymans terms how we are manipulated by the powerful food industry to indulge in products not suitable for consumption.

Meet the Author

Dr. Rothman earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the State University of New York at Binghamton and his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Miami. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Emergency Medicine. Dr. Rothman is a member of the American College of Emergency Physicians, the Price Pottenger Nutrition Foundation, and is a Fellow of The American College of Emergency Physicians.

Dr. Rothman was diagnosed with Crohns Disease in 1978 while majoring in physics at SUNY-Binghamton. He was told that his disease was incurable and that he would need to be on medications the rest of his life. Not willing to accept a lifelong sentence of suffering and illness, the 19 year old student set off on a journey to find a way to help himself with his affliction. He studied various mind body modalities including meditation and martial arts and engaged in rigorous physical activities to strengthen his body.

After his health improved, Dr. Rothman decided to go to medical school so that he could share his healing experiences with others plagued with similar maladies.

After graduating from the University Of Miami School Of Medicine, Dr. Rothman went on to train in Internal Medicine at The Mountainside Hospital in Montclair NJ. He then went on to become board certified in Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine.

However, despite being doubly board certified, Dr. Rothmans quest for knowledge drew him towards other healing modalities. For the next ten plus years he studied diverse healing arts including Chinese Medicine, Functional Medicine, Iridology, Homotoxicology, Nutrition, Naturopathy, Homeopathy, Acupuncture, Reiki, and Tachyon Healing. He also continued his martial arts training attaining the rank of 3rd degree black belt in Cuong Nhu Oriental Martial Arts.

In 2007 Dr. Rothman opened his clinic in East Brunswick NJ named MD Wellness. He has successfully treated thousands of patients to achieve better health through his scientifically based metabolically directed approach. He also continues to work part time as an emergency physician, currently at Ocean Medical Center in Brick NJ.
