I really really enjoyed this book. I laughed out loud through a lot of it. Loved the opening two scenes. I don't see how anyone can give a review after only reading 3 pages of a book. You really can't review the erotic content if you don't get to anything erotic. Read the book and then make your own opinion.

Good writing. Strong character development. Hot, hot sex!! More importantly, sex appropriate to further the story and the characters' journey. I've read this author before, the books she has out through a well known romance publisher, and this self-published title has all the quality of her other works. I hope there's a sequel. I want more.

Like 99.9% of the massive influx of so-called 'erotica' that the self-publishing floodgates have allowed in, this example is the same ole, same ole. It's your usual 'straight in' sex scenes, poorly written and with no real direction, exposition or anything else to enthrall the reader. These 'erotica' eBooks are flights of fancy by the authors and do little from a literary sense. Most read as if they were written by 8th graders experimenting with the language and hoping to get a story going. Inevitably, most fail miserably. Whatever the subject, some writing skill is actually still required to pull off a story. It is not merely a case of writing down a series of fantasies and then joining them together, hoping that it automagically turns into a gripping story. The same age old writing skills still apply, whatever the subject. This piece probably breaks every rule in the book, so to speak, and for me, made for very tedious (and embarrassing reading). I quit after only three pages; it was just too corny to continue. This said, 'erotica' eBooks obviously do not need to be grammatically correct or have any substance to them. What the readers and fans of these pieces want is the sex, and nothing more. The more graphic, the better. Nevertheless, writing graphic sex scenes requires a modicum of writing talent to pull off successfully. Sadly, this particular piece - in my opinion - doesn't quite reach the shoreline and sinks a few miles from the coast, having hit an iceberg as soon as it left port. It makes me wonder, is there such a thing as 'good erotica'? I doubt it.

This book was not very well written which surprised me because I've read others by Cat Johnson that I loved. The storyline seemed choppy and the sex scenes forced and not well written.

It's definitively educational in more ways than one. While not politically correct, I would recommend that the first half of the book be given to half the female college students in America for a lesson in respecting themselves. Many of the concepts expressed by the main character is common among the younger generations, as unfortunate as that is. The problem is that I don't think they need to learn about menages until they get a little older. The scenes are really hot and the writing is well done. Cat Johnson has always brought the characters to life by providing them a history and giving them a psychological background by which to base their behaviors. I'm glad that she used two hunky cowboys to teach Ansley the proper way to love.
