    More Than An American Life

The Education of Henry Adams has been, and should remain, required reading for anyone who wishes to understand the role America played during the lifetime of its author. Adams' reflections on Grant, Hay, and Lincoln alone are reason enough to read this book. Adams' political insights and observations are as trenchant today as they were nearly a century ago. This finest of American autobiographies will continue to stand the test of time. Those readers who enjoy more than a simple and superficial retelling of history will certainly treasure this account.

    Hate it

The history portions are mildly interesting. The philosophy is and science is tedious and asinine.
