What a good book. Downton Abbey fans are urged to check it out.

The BBC series 'Downton Abbey' showcases life in the Edwardian era, and a great deal of that life came from its kitchens. This book is filled with recipes that may have been served at the real Downton Abbey, Highclere Castle.
Buy this book and treat yourself to some of Edwardian England's finest cuisine.

Cookbook where the recipes actually come out as they say. I am shocked! No pictures in the book but there is a Facebook page for the book where all the pictures can be found, which I actually like better. Made a few of the desserts so far and most of the high tea stuff for Downton Abbey parties.

Most fancy-shancy cookbooks are hard to follow. I felt like a true British Mum serving my family these dishes. And believe me I am not usually the best cook. But with Chef Larry Edward's recipes...I Am Now!
