Editorial Reviews

From the Publisher
The cheerful illustrations have plenty of energy.
Children's Literature - Marilyn Courtot
In this board book version of the nursery rhyme, the little spider and friends are stuffed animals in a rural but contemporary setting. The spider is washed down the spout by the rain, but after the sun comes out and he dries off, he intrepidly sets off once again on his adventurous climb. It is a pleasant, cheery offering with plenty in the pictures for kids to look at and talk about. Other titles in the series are Hickory Dickory Dock, One, Two Buckle My Shoe, and This Little Piggy.
Children's Literature - Susie Wilde
Board books are thick paged, laminated books that make page-turning possible for baby fingers and clean up easy for parents. A mentor friend of mine, calls them "now and later books". The simplicity of text helps babies with language acquisition and supports them later as new readers. Heather Collins' Eensy Weensy Spider initiates dramatic finger play and singing. Other titles in the series are This Little Piggy, Hickory Dickory Dock and One, Two, Buckle My Shoe.
