I am recommending this text to Deans on my campus and to newcomers to fund raising on my staff. This is an excellent text full of detailed how-to tips as well as big-picture analysis. The author does a terrific job of presenting best-practice information. She also points the way to improvements based on research and theory. When her suggestions are 'ahead of the curve,' she lets the reader know. This is the book to buy.
