Egg-Drop Bluesby Jacqueline Turner Banks
Desperate to raise his grade in science, Judge hopes he can succeed in the egg-drop competition he's entered with his twin brother. Worried, sensitive, and learning to come to terms with dyslexia, Judge tells of his struggles with schoolwork, a sometimes difficult brother, and finding his own self-esteem. "Without stopping the book's flow to discuss dyslexia, Banks makes some good points about grades, intelligence, and learning styles." -- Booklist
"Judge's first-person narration is conversational and refreshingly candid." Booklist, ALA
"This is a special story that fills a need for well-written books about African American children. An added plus is that the subject of dyslexia is presented sensitively and authoritatively."

The book I read is called Egg-Drop Blues. It is about two boys who were twins and have two totally different personalities. The boys names are Jury and Judge, but the only way you can tell that they are different is that Judge is kind and Jury is wild. In the Book Judge is going to class and when he walks in the door the teacher jumps when she sees him and then she says ¿Oh its just you.¿ She acted like Judge scared her, but when he sat down his best friend told him that the teacher is scared to death of Jury, so it has him start to wonder why but he just decides to stop thinking about Judge and Mrs. Norville. So on the weekend Jury and Judge are bored so they decide to compete in a competition were they eggs off a bridge. So before the end of the weekend they get all the supplies so they can to make a huge ball of eggs and then they are going to drop the eggs off the bridge and see how many eggs will not break.
