A new standalone novel from #1 New York Times bestselling author, Vi Keeland.

The night I met Drew Jagger, he'd just broken into my new Park Avenue office.
I dialed 9-1-1 before proceeding to attack him with my fancy new Krav Maga skills.
He quickly restrained me, then chuckled, finding my attempted assault amusing.

Of course, my intruder had to be arrogant.
Only, turned out, he wasn't an intruder at all.

Drew was the rightful occupant of my new office. He'd been on vacation while his posh space was renovated.
Which was how a scammer got away with leasing me office space that wasn't really available for rent.
I was swindled out of ten grand.

The next day, after hours at the police station, Drew took pity on me and made me an offer I couldn't refuse. In exchange for answering his phones while his secretary was out, he'd let me stay until I found a new place.
I probably should have acted grateful and kept my mouth shut when I overheard the advice he was spewing to his clients. But I couldn't help giving him a piece of my mind.
I never expected my body to react every time we argued. Especially when that was all we seemed to be able to do.

The two of us were complete opposites. Drew was a bitter, angry, gorgeous-as-all-hell, destroyer of relationships. And my job was to help people save their marriages.
The only thing the two of us had in common was the space we were sharing.
And an attraction that was getting harder to deny by the day.

Just when I think it can't get any better Vi Keeland gives me another brilliant read and yet another book boyfriend to swoon over. This book is everything you could want in a book and more .... Drew Jagger has just returned to Manhattan on New Years Eve hoping his office renovation is finished, what he didn't expect was to find an attractive woman who seems to think she has rented his office space ........ I don't want to give too much away because you need to read this book without reading any spoilers first. This is a hilarious read that you won't be able to put down, its got a hot alpha male who has a dirty mouth and sex on the brain and a funny feisty redhead who try's to give as good as she gets. I read this book in one sitting and I laughed til I cried, if I could have given this book more stars I would have, this to me is Vi Keeland's best book to date she just keeps getting better and better. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

I loved this book Emerie and Drew were so good for each other. They helped each other and along the way fell in love. I want Roman to find that special someone and I loved Beck what a kid. Alexa was a (insert bad adjective). The ending was wonderful I hope there will be something on them in the future babies...

The first words in chapter one of this book are "I hate New Year's Eve", muttered by Drew Jagger. At the time I couldn't understand why he would feel that way, but after a few chapters I was beginning to get the picture. Drew is a divorce attorney and he is very good at what he does, he is also arrogant, cocky, handsome, and sexy as sin, and he knows it, in other words a true egomaniac. Emerie Rose is a psychologist, who specializes in marriage counseling, she is gorgeous, smart, sassy, accident prone, and how can I say this, ok I will go with naive. That is how she ended up renting an office space, that wasn't for rent and actually already belonged to Drew Jagger. Their initial meeting had me laughing out loud and I couldn't help but fall in love with Drew and Emerie, or Oklahoma as he likes to call her, not to mention Drew's friend Roman, I so hope that he gets a book of his own. I have never read a book by Vi Keeland that I did not love, and I think that this one is my new favorite. It was a lighthearted romance filled with interesting characters, loads of laughter, and love. Another dazzling five star read from this author, and do yourself a favor, if you love romance with a bit of humor thrown in the you will not want to miss this one!!

Characters that you enjoy reading about , not perfect but still likable. The dialogue is worth reading even if you don't like the story.

I could not put this book down! It was that good! First, the cover...damn! Next Drew Jagger...double damn. I think I have fallen in love! Drew is a divorce attorney. Ever since his ex-wife screwed him over, he does not believe in happy ever afters. Emerie Rose is a psychologist specializing in helping relationships and only believes in happy endings. These two should not be meant for each other but they sure were. When Emerie first meets Drew it was so awesome and funny....you knew this was going to be the laugh out loud type of story and Vi Keeland does not disappoint. When Drew feels sorry for Emerie, he offers her a compromise...they can share the office until she can find another place. What Drew didn't expect was to fall hard for Emerie. I just loved how her light slowly brought Drew out from his darkness. Of course there always has to be some drama and that came from Drew's ex-wife, Alexa. Man was she a real biotch and she made his life a living hell. At least he had his son, Beck to make dealing with Alexa worthwhile. I loved Beck. He was such a sweet and caring kid and it was obvious he got all of that from Drew. The path Emerie and Drew had to go on to find their happy ending was funny, sexy and even emotional at times but it was so wonderful. I highly recommend this great book!

If you are looking for a book with Sizzling chemistry and a touch of humor, then EgoManiac is definitely the one for you. It is quite a page turner. Drew and Emerie are the perfect example of opposites attract. There is never a dull moment with these two. At times it was laugh out funny. Emerie was no pushover. She held her ground and stood up for what she believed to be true. Drew was cocky and arrogant and it was wonderful to see him totally transformed into sweet and considerate whenever it came to dealing with Emerie. it was sweet and romantic. This was a FANTASTIC read!! Did I mention amazing chemistry? Yes along side the awesome storyline, there were hot and steamy scenes that will leave you wanting for more. I really enjoyed this story. It had fully developed characters, with a great plot and nonstop drama. As always Vi Keeland didn't disappoint; she delivers. Every. Single. Time.

I've really enjoyed all of Vi's book. You just get sucked into them. Egomaniac is no different. I made the mistake of starting this book at 1:30am and the next thing I know the alarm clock is going off and it's time to get the kids up and to school.

This book was just ok. Nothing special. Again the heroine takes the guy back too quickly after he put her through hell. Just makes a weak heroine.

I think I've read every one of her books and just when I think there couldn't be a better one, I'm proved wrong. Once I started this book I couldn't seem to put it down. Late nights and stolen moments were what it took just so I could continue being wrapped around this story. I was sad for it to end but enjoyed reading it so much. Read it, you won't be disappointed.

AMAZING! Marriage counselor Emerie Rose and divorce attorney Drew M. Jagger meet on New Year's Eve when he finds Emerie in his office. She believes she scored a deal when she rented the Park Avenue office, only to find out that she was victim of a scam and Drew is the rightful owner. The attraction between Drew and Emerie is immediate. So when Drew, feeling sorry for Emerie's situation, proposes that they share the office until she can find a new place, Emerie says yes. Will they fight their attraction? What secrets is Drew hiding? What happened to him in the past that made him avoid relationships? I loved Egomaniac! The story is amazing and captivated me from the first page. The banter between Drew and Emerie is hilarious. And the sexy scenes? OMG! So HOT! I loved the little drama and finding what happened to Drew. And Emerie's story? So beautiful! Emerie Rose is a marriage counselor. She loves her job and loves helping people. She moved from Oaklahoma to New York because of Baldwin, her crush. She is very sweet, kind, and a little naïve. Drew M. Jagger is a hot, cocky, arrogant, dirty mouthed, divorce attorney. He doesn't do relationships. He has been burned in the past and from what he sees at work, love isn't worth the heartache. Vi Keeland gives us, once again, an incredible book with an amazing story and great characters. Egomaniac is a sexy and funny book that will capture your heart!

Egomaniac by Vi Keeland is a standalone romance told in dual POV between two of my favorite characters to date. Emerie is the Psychologist and marriage counselor to Drew's jaded divorce attorney. In this case - opposites really do attract! There hasn't been a book Vi Keeland has written that I haven't adored. She is up there with my favorite authors and definitely a must-read for me. I truly feel like with relationships and people in general some people just click and for me some writers just click. Their writing style, the stories they tell, the characters they create - click, click, click!!! Emerie is a strong female in a bad spot and the typically jaded and closed off Drew pretty much comes to her rescue. In the end they end up rescuing each other and making each other better. From the best meet-cute yet, to the journey they both take to get their happily ever after, this book is a gem. Enjoy!

I would like to start this review by expressing my regret for having never picked up a VI Keeland book before. I now realize my mistake and plan to rectify it as soon as humanly possible. Egomaniac was on the fringes of the books that I usually read, so I almost passed up my chance to read it. I can not tell you how glad I am that I didn’t pass, it was such a great book. I was very pleasantly surprised by how emotionally connected I felt to this book. Egomaniac is on the light side, for me, but it was rich and varied in the emotions in evoked. I had picked it up for a bit of light reading after reading a heavier book but it wasn’t nearly as light as I had been expecting. It was actually the perfect balance of light and heavy. I appreciated the short moments of comedic interlude and fell in love the heavy themes that were the backbone of Emerie and Drew’s story. Vi Keeland did an excellent job with her character development and growth in this book. I slowly fell in love with both Emerie and Drew. Emerie was sweet and naïve but grew into a strong, fierce woman who fought for what she knew she needed. Drew, on the other hand, was jaded and cold, forged by deceptions from his past, his growth into a person who loved and trusted with abandon was quite lovely to behold. Egomaniac was quite well-written and kept me wholly invested in what was going to happen next. I was impressed with Ms. Keeland’s ability to lead me to believe that the story was going in one direction then completely surprise me with a turn I didn’t quite see coming in the way I anticipated. The situations that Drew and Emerie faced in this book and the way they dealt with the hardships they faced kept me fully invested in them finding their happy endings. Vi Keeland will be going on my list of go-to authors when I need something a little different from my usual reads. Her writing is engrossing and he obviously cares greatly for her craft. I am highly impressed with her ability to draw me in to a story and care deeply for the characters she has created.
