Overview

Einstein was the twentieth century's most celebrated scientist - a man who developed the theory of relativity, revolutionised physics and became an iconic genius in the popular imagination. Essays range from the reasonably scientific including the theory of relativity, to the odd and engaging, such as Einstein's brain, his favourite jokes and films. Einstein A to Z provides a vibrant overview of the man and his achievements.

    Totally Engrossing

This well organized and thoughtful biography of an astonishing scientific figure is fantastic. I picked it up and could not put it down. The book has many short articles arranged in a dictionary format. It reads well, is informative and superbly written. The articles have see also information that creates a cohesive linking of topics. This work is well indexed and provides a selected bibliography for further reading. Another great work by Karen C. Fox!
