About the Author

Jetsunma Tenzin Palmo ordained as a Buddhist nun and eventually founded a monastery for women in India. In 2008, her sainthood the XII Gyalwang Drukpa, head of the Drukpa Kagyu lineage, bestowed on her the honorary title of Jetsunma (venerable teacher).
