Comenzando por el primer capítulo. En este se muestran las etapas de la Cuba sin los Castro. En pequeño país de alrededor de cinco millones de habitantes en ese entonces que pese a la inestabilidad política que existía por encontrarse gobernada por la dictadura de Fulgencio Batista, menospreciando los problemas del tambaleante gobierno dictatorial, éste trataba de salir adelante, desarrollarse y crecer económicamente y lo estaba consiguiendo pese a la incertidumbre en que se vivía.
