Aun tratándose de una ficción, la historia relata
determinados sucesos reales, que implican al jefe de
la Policía de México, General Duran, al sacerdote
Marcial Maciel Degollado de los Legionarios de Cristo
y a Monseñor Marcinkus, ayudante de Juan Pablo II.
Nicanor Severo, el protagonista de esta novela, es
un religioso centroamericano informante de los
Legionarios de Cristo y agente de los servicios secretos
del Vaticano. Se cruza con Ignacio "Nacho" Rugama,
un seminarista agente free lance de la CIA, que es
enviado a México para una misión contra los líderes
de la Teología de la Liberación.
Una Historia que nos lleva por España, México,
Colombia, Nicaragua, entre otros países,
para quitarnos las vendas de los ojos...

Ha publicado numerosos libros y ensayos sobre economía, política y relaciones internacionales.
Obtuvo un doctorado en la Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona y tiene una larga experiencia académica en las Universidades de Chile, México, Buenos Aires, Cuba y Nicaragua.
Durante diez años fue embajador de su país en Colombia, Ecuador y España.
El Pastor del Diablo es su primera novela.

    Te entretiene de principio a fin. Mezcla de realidad y ficcion.
