In my opinion, this is probably one of the most important historical books. For one, it is written by one who experienced first-hand the effects of WWII; and second, it attaches to the events an enlightened and inspiring interpretation and attitude that will benefit the reader inmensely! Its powerful lessons make this my favorite book of all times!

I do not know how many times I have read this book since I found an old edition in my house five years ago. Every time I read it I feel the same as the first time. Highly recommended, no matter the age.
