Election

Editorial Reviews

All Music Guide - Heather Phares
The soundtrack to the witty, satirical comedy Election features an interesting mix of indie-rock and heavily-promoted alternative bands. Along with Sebadoh's "Decide," Mojave 3's "This Road I'm Travelling" and April March's "Piscine Interior," which reflect the movie's quirky tone, one-hit wonders as of 1999 like Spacehog "Right in the Back of Your Mind" and TaxiRide "Can You Feel" contribute enjoyable but not especially memorable tracks. Donovan's classic "Jennifer Juniper" adds a whimsical touch to this collection, but ultimately Election's soundtrack doesn't offer the same bite as the film itself.
