An undergraduate introductory electrical engineering text in linear lumped circuit analysis. Introduces passive and active circuit elements. Covers resistive circuits, dependent sources, op amps, methodology of analysis, energy storage elements, first and second order circuits, sinusoidal sources and phasor analysis of steady state circuits. Examines AC, power, three phase circuits, frequency response, inductance, and design of linear filters. Introduces, defines, and develops Fourier and Laplace transform analysis. SPICE related material is included in the last eight chapters. Familiarity with differential and integral calculus is assumed. Singularity functions and solutions of linear time-invariant differential equations are developed in the text.
