When I bought this book, I wanted to read about the life of Frank Zappa. What I got was an in-depth study of the music of Frank Zappa, with the odd anecdote thrown in where it directly affected the music. If you're looking for a study of Frank's music, then this is the book for you. If, however, you're looking for a biography...you'll be disappointed.
