Meet the Author

Alan Tussy has written nine mathematics books -- a paperback series and a hard cover series. He belongs to the American Mathematical Association of Two-Year Colleges (AMATYC). He has taught at Citrus College since 1988 in the Mathematics department, educating in many levels of Mathematics from Prealgebra to Differential Equations.

R. David Gustafson, Professor Emeritus of Mathematics at Rock Valley College, earned a Master of Arts from Rockford College in Illinois, as well as a Master of Science from Northern Illinois University. He is the co-author of several other best-selling mathematics texts including Gustafson/Frisk's BEGINNING ALGEBRA, INTERMEDIATE ALGEBRA, and BEGINNING AND INTERMEDIATE ALGEBRA: A COMBINED APPROACH, and the Tussy/Gustafson developmental mathematics series.
