I recently saw "The Elephant Man" on Broadway and the play had such a profound effect on me that I wanted to read the text to help clarify some of the lines and scenes. I would recommend reading this before or after seeing a live performance of the play--or, really, anytime. It has a lot to say about the human condition and provokes further, deep thought. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.

When I first started to read this book, I was very confused. I thaught all the information about 'The Elephant Man' was fake and I really thaught there was no such thing. And then they start talking about how bad it is and they get so detailed. They talk about what he has gone through in his lifetime and some things that he has been called. They also talk about how the people he lived with beat him and how no one treated him fairly! But in the end I give this book a 3. Because of the fact it is a good book, but it's deffinitly isn't the best book i've ever read. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
