They are based in Danville, Kentucky. Larry Vaught is the sports editor for the Advocate-Messenger and a noted authority on University of Kentucky basketball. He has been named Kentucky's National Sportswriter of the Year by the National Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association six years in a row.
