Why is it still cheaper for me to get a hard copy of this magazine delivered to my home? It is $6.00 a year more on the NOOK. What's up with this?

I look forward to each issue. It has been a well done magazine for a lot of years, and the electronic version is no exception. I love the short stories, and meeting new authors, and authors that I may have overlooked and missed!!! By reading one of the short stories in this magazine, I have found an author that had many series of books that I have come to absolutely love. I would have missed them all!!!! Well worth the subscription. I also really appreciate that BN lets you start and stop subscriptions, as you like. Sometimes I get overwhelmed with how behind I get, and I can stop for a bit and catch up!!!

EQMM is the premier mystery fiction magazine. There are always at least one or two stories per issue that are right in the particular style one likes and are of excellent quality. If you like variety, you can't go wrong with EQMMM. The editors clearly place an emphasis on covering all the different styles within the genre, which means that if you have a strong preference for a particular style of mystery (hard boiled, traditional, historical, etc.) most of the stories won't be in whatever style you favor most. However, since all the stories are of high quality, reading EQMM is a great way to expand your horizons, and there will nearly always be some stories that make the entire issue worth buying. In addition, the book and blog reviews are excellent.

These stories are the perfect length for reading in a waiting room. Each one is a good mystery, taking your mind away from your current problems.
