My son loves Elmo, so needless to say, I picked this book up knowing he would love it. The Valentine comes out and can "travel" along the pages to make it engaging for kids, and the story is cute and easy to understand. The colors and characters are great and classic, and it has made a wonderful addition to our shelf. Jesse reads this over and over again!

My 20-month-old loves Elmo. She had played with this book at a class and so we bought it. It is fun, she takes the valentine from one page to the next as we read it. However, initially the slots are incredibly tight and an adult has a hard time getting the valentine in. I recommend taking a butter knife and gently opening up the slots before giving it to a young child to play with. It is frustrating for them when the heart won't go into its place on the page and the little heart gets frayed and crumpled.

My 11 month old loves Elmo and this little book is great for her little hands. We did have to take the insert heart out (so she wouldnt chew on it or stick it in her mouth) but she adores this book.
