Nothing stirs Belinda Crawford more than a fast horse, a blazingly fast computer or a really good book.A Melbourne-based IT graduate, she has expanded her passion for reading, and penchant for science fiction and fantasy, to creative writing, and in 2012 had Elouise: A tale of The Light published in Andromeda Spaceways Inflight Magazine.Somewhere between work, karate training and wrestling her keyboard away from a feline named Faust, Belinda has found the time to write Hero, the first title in a science fiction trilogy for young adults.

This 6 page short story is pretty tragic but not long enough for the reader to get a feel for the characters. It's not really a tale of the light but it's not bad for a quick read. However, this story somehow managed to push home the lesson that evil only begets more evil, even when performed by the righteous.

I do not like the way a "witch" is shown in this story. The life stealing is just wrong.
