This CD has great sound, and covers Elvis's wide ranging style and many hit songs -- from basic R&B to Gospel, all the romantic ballads, the many Rock'n'Roll classics, his country music roots, etc. Or . . . . as the "album cover" says, "25 unforgettable songs spanning the breadth of his monumental, rags-to-riches career". The Rock-N'Roll Classics like "Blue Suede Shoes", "Hound Dog", "Little Sister", and "Don't Be Cruel" will make you get up out of your chair to Rock Out! I was not a big Elvis fan when I was a teenager in the late Sixties, b/c well ... Elvis was so "Fifties". I liked the Beatles, the Stones, the Beach Boys, the Doors and other 60's Folk, Pop and Rock. But listening, now, to Elvis singing "It's Now or Never" or "Are You Lonesome Tonight" has me swooning. What a voice! What soul! Elvis is "THE Undisputed, Once and Future King of Rock'n' Roll." Elvis does live! This is a really great album. I give it 5 stars *****. My only criticism goes to the flimsy and kind of cheesey packaging. A great collection of music like this deserves a more sturdy, high quality cover.
