Christmas wedding fever and scandal are in the air! The bride ditched everybody’s favorite feed and seed man for a stranger who has women all over Mooreville swooning. It’s enough to make Callie Valentine Jones turn in her hair-cutting scissors, especially when she finds them buried in the bridegroom’s neck and herself as the prime suspect! Callie, her cousin Lovie, and her famous dog Elvis lead the law on a merry chase as they try to catch the killer before Callie ends up singing “Jailhouse Rock.”

This cozy has it all - chocolate, high heels, a bad boy on a Harley, and a cute dog (Elvis made me say that)!

My favorite canine sleuth is back! It's always such fun to read a Southern Cousins Mystery by Peggy Webb. I love the way Peggy weaves the personal stories of her characters in with the current murder. This time around, Callie is accused of murder and Jack works to solve the crime before the local law enforcement puts Callie in jail. As usual, Lovie is up to her neck in murder and trouble, and Elvis is there to add his hilarious comments, but the sparring matches between Callie and her almost-ex are the real treat of this book. I won't write any spoilers, but my favorite part of the book is the Jack-and-Callie sauna scene. The author introduces a new character in this book, Billy Jessup. I love him and hope he keeps coming back. Don't miss this one!

    Great series!

I love the Elvis books. Elvis keeps his human mom in line with humor and love. The characters in this series are wonderful - people I would like to know. And the mysteries kept me wondering, although I knew Elvis had the answer all along. Peggy Webb has done a super job with this series. Hope there will be more to come.

Thuroughly enjoying this series! Ms. Peggy Webb writes a wonderfully lighthearted story that has everything in it. Love, laughter, murder, mystery and mayhem, with just enough sass to make it entertaining. I love the antics of Lovie and Callie, and Elvis always keeps thing interesting!

If you love mystery, mischief, romance, and laughing out loud, this is the book for you!!!
Peggy Webb and the cast of characters in this Southern Cousins Mystery will keep you
entertained all the way to the end. You find yourself interacting with the characters in conversation
as if they can hear you with advice, tips, or just rolling with laughter. Peggy brings small town
characters to life with all its joy, sadness, nosy neighbors, romance, and hilarious antidotes.
Add a mystery into the mix, and you can't wait to turn the page to see what is next!  I highly recommend
this book to keep you entertained.

This was the first book I'd read of the series and at first I was a bit lost, but so glad I stuck with it. Elvis and the Bridegroom Stiffs can certainly be enjoyed as a stand alone book and is an excellent cozy mystery. I immediately fell in love with the characters and laughed out loud several times at Fayrene and her poor choice of words. Peggy Webb has created such an amazing series. If you love cozy mysteries, you're going to love this one.

Cat here...Loved this book. You can see the growth in Callie as she strives to assert her independence and the uncertainty in Jack as he continues to try and woo Callie back. Adding Lovie's quest to have Rocky find the golden treasure as a backstory is comic genius. Elvis' presence is a welcome addition to the plot line. All the characters are well written and endearing. As always Ms. Webb mixes murder. mayhem and comedy with a deft hand and wicked humor, My only complaint is that its not in hardback to go with the first . I can so see this series on HBO or Hallmark. It would bring a lot of joy to anyone watching,

LOVED THIS ONE!!  While reading Elvis and the Bridegroom Stiffs

LOVED THIS ONE!!  While reading Elvis and the Bridegroom Stiffs I smiled, and  snickered. I so enjoyed this book and loved hearing Elvis "talk" in my head. Callie is in trouble (again) and Jack is trying to save her. Callie and Lovie are up to their usual sleuthing. It is producing results but as you know that doesn't always mean good things. :) The tension between Callie and Jack  is delicious. I HIGHLY Recommend this installment of The Southern Cousins Mystery Series.
