What a Great Surprise! Being of a very quiet, reserved nature, I do not laugh out loud frequently. My wife was amazed as I sat and read this book, Laughing Out Loud the whole time I was reading it. It's hilarious and I highly recommend for anyone who just wants to have a great laugh. If you're looking for a book that will change the values of our society, this is probably not it. But if you're looking for some light moments to cheer an otherwise blah time, I'm sure there will be a good belly laugh in there for you. If you don't want folks staring at you funny or thinking you're weird, you might choose to not read it while in a public forum....because, rest assured, folks will stare at you, wondering what you are finding so hilarious. Time spent laughing is time spent with the Gods (someone wiser than I once said that) and your time spent reading this book will certainly be a time of laughter. If you like to laugh, you simply have to try this book. Don't let the unusual name of the book intimidate you, (Lindsay's bad) when inquiring about this book. Don't know what I was expecting, but it certainly exceeded my expectations when it came to good old fashion laughing. Try it and laugh yourself into a good mood.

This is by far the funniest book I have ever read. The concept is simple, John Lindsay searches through online ads looking for victims, contacts them, generally sounding "normal" at first to reel them in, and hilarity ensues. He tries to sell his cars that have a "slight scratch," contacts a woman looking to rid her yard of groundhogs, offers a model a job on a farm, and many more. I was a little hesitant on buying this at first but I'm very glad that I did. I read the entire book in one night, literally laughing out loud. This is a must have for anybody who needs a good laugh.

Would have liked more for the money, but the book is still funny enough to almost make me wet my pants. For those who do not like it, grow a sense of humor please.

This is, by far, the funniest book I have ever read. I'm not kidding, this book had me in tears. I have never laughed this hard while reading a book, ever. People place email inquirys and John Lindsay answers them in the most outrageous ways. Looking for someone to watch your kid, will an ex-con do? Need someone to watch your dog, how about someone who is looking to put him in a dogfight? Anybody who is looking for a good laugh, not a chuckle, but a deep down fall out of your seat uncontrollable belly laugh should read this book.

The narratives after each e-mail makes the emails even funnier! Can't wait for the next book.

Do you Craigslist? Are you dumb? Gullible? If so, you probably are in here. If not, you must check it out just to see how stupid some people actually are. Makes you second guess your neighbors and the manager working the drive-thru window. Enjoy!

It's not "real people being stupid", it's blameless civilians being harassed by a dick for his own personal gratification. Not sure where the joke is.

I re-read this fairly constantly and laugh every single time. If I were to make one complaint it would be that it's not long enough.

Very clever scenarios that are played out in this book. Fast and enjoyable read. Seriously could never be as dedicated to a pank as the author is in this book. Props to him for being a practical joke mastermind and sharing it with us.

This was hilarious, but needed more stories. Or the author should do another book. This seemed like it could have been an homage to Jay Leno's article reviews he likes to do every other episode on articles that were just crazy enough to be shown nationally. Loved the trolling to craigslist postings.
