    Good book!

Great story, captivating amd much more suspenseful than first book. Really jumps right into a dynamic plot line, and a really good length for me. Just a few grammer error (missing words here and there, inconsistent verb tenses, and the use of dominate instead of dominant drov eme nuts!) But overall well written an ddefinately worth pickin gup after readin gthe first book. A unique spin on paranormal teen lit. Great job!

Love contemporary/bestselling fantasy? Read this series!

This book is a great fantasy read. Lots of twists & surprises. Must read Ember Rising Light/book 1 before this one. This series has 4 more books to come. The 2nd book introduces a romantic theme, along with fantasy adventure and supernatural stuff. Faster paced than 1st, like other series. The writers style reminds me of other popular fantasy romance on the shelves. Major characters are all teens or 20's. This series would appeal anyone that reads contemporary fantansy similar to current bestselling books - think Twilight without vamps. Has plot spins, kidnappings, demons, X-Men like powers, & romance. I would recommend & look forward to book 3.

    Interesting, compelling, but

this series is so wordy. Lengthy explanations by way of the characters thoughts. At times this is confusing as to who is speaking or thinking. Still, I find it fascinating to keep reading.
