I thought this book was one of her best. This author really understands sisters and how families work, and I absolutely loved the cop hero. I never saw the surprise ending coming! Just an all around fun read and very enjoyable romance.

Fun tale centered around the great fire in Bar Harbor, Maine. It includes supernatural events with a twist at the end and love interests.

I enjoy these lite mysteries as opposed to dark murder mysteries. Embers did not let me down. I enjoyed the characters and plot was great with twist and turns. A good mystery always leaves a reader wanting to know more about the characters. In this book the elaborate dollhouse was a character and I wanted to know more about it. A great read for end of summer day on your deck.

Embers is the first Antoinette Stockenberg book that I've read and I really enjoyed it. Well developed characters
and interesting plot. which involves Meg and Allie, two sisters in Maine. Intrigue, mystery and ghosts!

I have read several of Ms. Stockenberg's books and this was one of the best. There are so many elements to her stories and the characters pull you into their world. Enjoy!
