Meet the Author

Jamie Magee has always believed that each of us have a defining gift that sets us apart from the rest of the world, she has always envied those who have known from their first breath what their gift was. Not knowing hers, she began a career in the fast paced world of business. Raising a young family, and competing to rise higher in that field would drive some to the point of insanity, but she always found a moment of escape in a passing daydream. Her imagination would take her to places she’d never been, introduce her to people she’s never known. Insight, her debuting novel, is a result of that powerful imagination. Today, she is grateful that not knowing what defined her, led her on a path of discovery that would always be a part of her.

A Perfect Mixture of action, philosophy, and undying love

If you have been by my blog in the last couple of weeks, then you know that I have fallen in love with the Insight Series. Embody is the perfect mixture of action, philosophy, and undying love. Landen and Willow will once again face Drake as Mercury orbits into place. This is the second of many trials they will face in order to restore the color to Esterious. As the myth goes, only the rightful Guardian with Willow at his side can prevail over the world. Drake believes he is the Guardian and will do anything to have her at his side. Landen already has Willow's love, but has no desire to rule the world.

Willow and Landen want to protect the ones they love, but the closer time gets to their confrontation with Drake, the more they realize they must train their family and friends to assist and protect them. The two of them have a great deal to learn, as well. Libby and Preston are invaluable tutors and guides, teaching them to meditate and to see and use the energy around them. Landen has been warned that he could push Willow into Drake's arms by trying to stop her from doing something she truly wants to do. He definitely has that selective hearing thing going on that most me do; because, he did exactly what he was warned against. Now Willow is stuck in Esterious with Drake vying for her love. Can he get her back before it is too late? Let's hope so.

I enjoyed this book immensely. You begin to see things through Drake's eyes. He's not completely bad. Perhaps he can be saved from the darkness. This remains to be seen.

    Loved the first book

I loved the first book but the second started really really slow! It got really interesting in the middle end. I still liked the story and the charaters, though myself could do with a little less kissy kissy but thats just me. I will probably will buy the next book when i got the dough, so i can finish this adventure!

    Amazing series

I can't say anything bad about these books. The story is breathtaking and original, and Jamie makes you feel like your living the story rather than reading it, as she describes the different places and situations perfectly.
The characters were great, they weren't perfect as they had their flaws but that's what makes you feel closer to them. And although they have amazing powers, they still don't really control them and do things wrong like the rest of the human people.
The main character is Willow, a young lady who can see people from other dimensions that need her help, she can change their emotions, I was really happy everytime she helped someone because it made me feel good.
But her nights are filled with dreams of two boys, one "good" and one "bad"
Then you have Landen, the boy she's been in love with like forever, her own particular ray of sun, the one that always comes after her nightmares to confort her.
Then you have Drake, he's the dark where Landen is the light, but I still hope there's something good in him and that in the end he'll find happiness.
The secondary characters were as enjoyable as the main but my favorite characters were Libby and Preston, they are so cute!!!
And I liked Dane to, Willow's best male friend who is always ready to protect her no matter what.
I also loved the idea of the different dimensions from Infante (which would be ours) to Chara (the perfect one) or Esteroius (the condemmed one)
I can't wait to read the next one :)

    An All-Engrossing Fantasy Thriller

Having finally embraced the truth about her origins - not to mention her destiny - Willow is ready for a lifetime of unending bliss with her one true love, Landen. Little does she know, though, their greatest challenges - both individually and as a couple - will soon befall them. When Willow suddenly finds herself trapped in the body and persona of a dying young girl from an alternate universe, Landen and his family and friends stop at nothing to free her embodied spirit and bring her back home; however, as a powerful would-be suitor makes a play for her heart, will their efforts come too late...?

Equally engaging and entertaining, Embody is an all-engrossing fantasy thriller. In the long-awaited follow up to Insight, her standout debut offering, author Jamie Magee takes the reader deeper into the ever-evolving relationship between star-crossed lovers Willow and Landen. As they learn more about themselves and each other - including deep-seated powers they never knew they had - Willow and Landen continue to strengthen their spiritual bond in the face of one unforeseen challenge after another. While it remains to be seen whether or not their union will endure, one thing is for certain: nothing can trump the undying love and devotion they feel for one another, even as they find themselves worlds - and bodies - apart...

    A highly recommended read.

When I read this book, I could not believe it was from the same

When I read this book, I could not believe it was from the same author as “Insight”. It felt another author wrote this one due to it having a different flow to it.
The story line flowed smoothly throughout the book. There were no slowdowns that made the reader wonder why they picked up the book in the first place.
The characters were vivid and easy to connect to. The dialog that the characters used was believable and I, as the reader, could picture the scene clearly.
This book would have a hard time for a reader that has not read “Insight”. This book does not have much of the detail background as the book “Insight” covers.
This book gets five stars overall, but in my opinion; it is not a stand-alone book. A reader would need to read “Insight” first.

    Great!

I'm wondering why the secind book is less than 200 pages long while the first is over 600. This doesnt make sense to me. However I do love the series. It is different and interesting. I think most people like the idea of having a soulmate but this has so much morethan the average idea. Great book!!!

THIS IS MY GUESS OF THE END OF THE SERIES

I walked over to Drake. His eyes blazed with anger "You loved me!" He yelled. I smiled at him in a sad sort of way "I did." I told him, as I lifted his chin forcing him to look me in the eye "And I still do. Jut not in the way you want me to." He took a deep breath and caressed my hair, but the feeling of his touch was gone "Why not?" He asked. I put my arms around his head and pulled his lips to mine. "I love Landen," I whispered "And she loves you. You just have to find her. I am not her." I gave him one last meaningful stare. He hesitated, and shook his head. "You are the one. I know it!" I kissed him again "Sleep on it. Take all the time you need. But don't kid yourself." I smailed at him "Good bye, Drake." The room exploded in white light. I heard his sobs. I woke up.
