Book one in the Warrior Hunger series.

As a warrior of Anubis, Darius always believed he was destined to be alone. Never to come into contact with others like him, or experience passion in the arms of a woman for more than just one night. After eight hundred years alone, he begins to question what he's always known when he finds a woman who stirs not only his desire, but his heart as well.

Brisa's not blind, so she's very much aware of the hot man who frequents the bar where she works. But he's always been aloof. Throwing caution to the wind, she approaches the sexy stranger and finds herself completely swept away. But a shocking secret and an unsavory demon stand between them. Brisa must decide if she can love a man like Darius . . . for eternity.

    This is one hot paranormal.

Darius is a warrior of Anubis and he has just been living half a life. He knows what his job is and that is to find the evil in the world and send them to Anubis to be found guilty or not. The only bright light in his life is Brisa. She is a bartender at a bar and he only goes there to see her.

Brisa has feelings for Darius and she is just afraid to approach him. When her friend finally makes her go up to him everything changes. Passions start to go out of control. Then something evil happens.

Great plot to a great story. This book is something a little different but still there is a story around it. I love getting hold of a new series and reading about it. There is nothing like getting to take on a new adventure and seeing a new world. Every author writes a certain way. This isn’t the first book that I have read by this author. I loved the Ra’s Chosen series. There is just something about reading books about gods.

I was taken on a great adventure and had a little suspense. The love that Brisa and Darius have was instant. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series. Anything that has hot sexy men in it is for me. Nothing like having a fantasy with a book character. I always hate when I come to the last page. The great thing about a series is you know there will be more.

If you love books that have some adventure and suspense in them you need to read this. I love reading series and hopefully you do to.
