Michael Jacot is an Associate Professor at York University, Toronto, where he teaches screenwriting. The Toronto film production company he founded has produced over two hundred documentaries, feature films, and short films. He is also the author of five novels, including The Last Butterfly, a novel on the holocaust, translated into nine languages, and of Wind from Across the River, a tale of the far north.
