Meet the Author


Jeff Vande Zande was born in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. "Its long winters helped me see that people are at their best when they are helping other people." He now lives in Michigan's Lower Peninsula, in Bay City with his wife, son, and daughter, where he teaches at Delta College. In addition to fiction, Vande Zande also writes poetry. In 2002, Partisan Press released his Last Name First, First Name Last. March of 2003 saw the release of his chapbook of poems, Tornado Warning (March Street Press). He is at work on a novel and editing Driftwood Review.
