Meet the Author

Carol Marinelli recently filled in a form asking for her job title. Thrilled to be able to put down her answer, she put writer. Then it asked what Carol did for relaxation and she put down the truth - writing. The third question asked for her hobbies. Well, not wanting to look obsessed she crossed the fingers on her hand and answered swimming but, given that the chlorine in the pool does terrible things to her highlights – I’m sure you can guess the real answer.

    Second chances!

This was a great story of second chance.. kind of short at around 130 something pages. The book had a few words in it that most readers could do without.. the sex scenes weren't to in detail.. but .. they were there. Overall the book was good, just not quite my style..

    What a lovely love story!

Two people who loved, lost and then rediscovered each other. Pain of a great lose, and self doubt took her to a dark place, but she was stronger when she came out the other side. Only thing I didn't like is that they kept refering to"she lost the baby". NO, NO, NO! She didn't do anything wrong as that phrase suggests. There was a loss of pregnancy-that's what my dr said to me. No blame...just a very sad, natural occurance. This made a lot of diffrance to me & I'm sure other women, who have been through a miscarraige, will understand. So glad they waited and ended up together on their terms.

    A Great Read

I loved this book. Although it was only 136 pages, it seemed like much more. It was very realistic and very sweet.

    A Relaxing Day of Entertainment..

This was a relaxing little read, which is what I was craving after just finishing the reading a Suspense/Thriller.

This book is a medical romance book, about two doctors who had been married for a year, and then divorced. Now 10 years later they are reunited in the Emergency Room, following the ex-wife being in an automobile accident and severely injured. From then on we follow her recovery, and their slowly leaving go of the past, and dealing with the here and now. Like all my Cinderella books, it was predictable, and it had a happy ending, which is the way I like my books.

I awarded the book 3*** because I enjoyed it.

    OK

This is a sweet story but just ok. I hate to admit but I got lost in the Britsh use of language having to look up terms that did not show on the look up feature of my Nook.
