From the moment we are born life is full of joy happiness and even sorrow. From the moment we take our first breath life becomes a journey in which we experience a lifetime of happiness and trials. As we grow we become wounded by the various trials and hurts that we have endured. In this collection of poetry I hope to take you along my personal journey through; health and illness, love and loss, and hope and desire. This collection is a narrative account of my attempt to emerge from the shadows and reach others who like me have faced the storms of life and still have faith in dawn of a new morning.

About the Author

Scott was born April 21 1965, currently residing New Hampshire. Writing is his way of expressing himself in hopes to reach others. Scott writes of his battle between the light and darkness as he has battled a chronic illness for the past thirteen years. His words are his legacy, his gift to give back to those who are fighting their own battles alone. Scott does not hide anything in his writings; he hides behind no masks and hopes that one day his words will effectively help others.
