Silhouette INTIMATE MOMENTS

HE WANTED TO GIVE HER A CHILD

Powerfully built and ruggedly handsome, Mitch Hayden walked into Emily Jordan's life and took her senses by storm. The ache in his searing blue gaze matched the loneliness in her soul, and soon the pretty widow had fallen hopelessly in love with a man she barely knew. A man too dangerous to love…

For Mitch hadn't come to Emily's home by chance. He'd come to ask forgiveness for the role he'd played in her tragic past—for the dreams of family he'd destroyed. Now he longed to give her the child she wanted, the happiness she deserved. But if Emily discovered who he really was, Mitch would be the last man she could ever love.

Meet the Author

Movies fascinated Beverly Barton from an early age, and by the time she was seven she was rewriting the movies she saw to give them all happy endings. After her marriage and the births of her children, Beverly continued to be a voracious reader and a devoted movie goer, but she put her writing aspirations on hold. Now, after writing over 70 books, receiving numerous awards and becoming a New York Times bestselling author, Beverly's career became her dream come true.

I've read a lot of Beverly Barton books. This was the worst. Love the protectors series, but, really.....this one is not worth reading even if it was free.
