About the Author

Patricia Gilmour - as a child she wanted to be an artist but felt that she couldn't draw so decided she wanted to be a writer instead. Patricia Gilmour was inspired by Enid Blyton, as one of her books started her love of reading.

Art remained her favourite school subject, though this was not pursued until as an older adult when she joined the Dannevirke Art Society and completed a Diploma in Art and Creativity Level 6 with The Learning Connexion.

Patricia Gilmour has also completed various writing courses to pursue her second childhood dream.
