You've got three choices when it comes to Henry Creswicke Rawlinson.
1. Henry's brother George's biography from the 1830's which is very dry and clinical. (Although available for free in the public domain.)
2. This version which is far more palatable. It offers a nice flow, dramatizes George's essay, and highlights the main points of Rawlinson's life.
Oh yeah, I said three. You can wait for my book coming out in 2014 entitles "The Brits of Babylon". It will feature Rawlinson, Austen Henry Layard, and George Smith.
