Being a HR major can be confusing. Textbooks uses words just makes things more harder and confusing. I got this book, and let me tell you. I am so happy and it has helped me understand my major so much better. I had a hard time understanding Unions. I read the chp on unions and now I understand. Textbooks likes to go on and on and on that the reader becomes lost. Textbooks also uses words that sometimes can cause the reader to be confused. The Employer's Legal Handbook is perfect. It is in plain English, short and sweet and have examples of almost everything. I am plaing to buy so many books from Nolo. I recommend every book by recommend and Nolo has helped me get my A. Thank you!
