Pretty good Science Fiction read. Used the concept of dreams like the movie Inception (including dream within a dream) and other interesting concepts. Great value as it is free!

The Empty Door is a very enjoyable book - interesting story, fun characters including a rather lovable robot, some interesting ideas. I looked for other Nook books by this author, but found nothing that looked like a similar story.

It was a well written book. A little confusing in places. Liked how they tied in a religious theme there at the end. Couldn't put it down!

I truly enjoyed this book! Read it straight through and was pleased with the storyline and believable characters. I wasn't sure at first as I am not a big Sci-Fi fan but quickly became absorbed in the adventure. Well paced and entertaining, littered with hidden morsels of truth that all faith can find common ground in. A book that makes you think long after you turn the last page! There is one line in the book (I am not going to spoil) that talks about the Big Bang....the authors analogy is simply beautiful. Enjoy!

First of all, I loved the story and the characters. I found the typos very distracting. Don't be afraid to pass the book around to some friends for editing purposes before publishing. The final 5 or 6 pages were completely unnecessary and just annoying. I skimmed them because it was so bad. The story ended long before that tirade so it could have been left out completely or at least shortened, a lot. This would have been a 5 star book without the last few pages and the typos. Have read others by this author and loved those stories as well so I will read more of his work.

splashey in places, absurd in places, well written, shows above normal intellegence in author. About time authors knew God without being "preachey".

Great read. It's not too techy or too bland. I wish there was a more detailed explanation about the doubles running around causing mayhem.

I wished for more characters. Easily got bored half way thru and hoped someone would show up or something exciting would happenm but never did...too slow for me
