By the end of their holiday, all the women will fall completely under the spell of Italy in this funny, insightful and very charming novel.

    Enjoyed reading this book

Four women from totally different backgrounds vacation together at a remote castle in Italy. Their lives are all transformed over the course of the month. All find love. The ending was a little abrupt for me, but a very nice read.

    Love this

I watched the movie before I read the book and though the film was beautiful the book is much better.

    highly recommended

A beautifully executed movie was done based on this book a number of years ago. It followed the book fairly faithfully. The book is beautifully written, with no unnecessary words or filler. It really is a classic.
