I have heard about this group before from a few friends that raved about them being the dancey side of bands like Enigma and Lesiem as well as Era. I did find this music incredibly sexy and danceable. Tracks that lured me in and really stand out are Aethera Et Terra and Agnus Dei. You must get this for the holidays. It is divine!

The automatic comparison group to Magna Canta would be Lesiem, with gregorian chants over modern music. This group, however, has a much more ambient sound mix, along with a more prominent female vocal secion (which was completely absent on Lesiem's first couple of albums). They also skimp on non-latin lyrics, which is a good thing. All-in-all, an excellent CD. By the way, was that a guest appearence by Darth Vader in the intro to Silentium?
