Editorial Reviews

From the Publisher
"This book is a handy reference for beginners to advanced Technical Analysts. It contains statistical data for the performance of over 100 Candlestick patterns in both bull and bear markets, offers identification guidelines, and explores the performance of tall versus short candles and shadows. Of particular interest are the chapters which delve into important discoveries and those which explain each Table entry in detail and discuss the methodologies behind them. A useful addition it the visual index. Overall the easy to read makes this book a welcome addition to most Technical Analysis bookcases."

As a trading model builder, I've found most trading books list only models that 'used to work', but not so 'currently'. Mr. Bulkowski offers exactly the kind of Stats I look for in every model I analyze. He is very candid in what 'does not work anymore', which is something I deeply appreciate in my profession. More importantly, he lists what is still working as of this publication. In emulating his algorithmic claims, I've yet to find any untruths. While his book is pricey, I've found it to be the most valuable addition to my library of 30+ trading manuals 'in many years'. To Tom B. , I say thank you for this exhaustive research. A job well done.
