    Excellent resource

A great book to reference when encountering new claims. Most of the scams out there have been done before. James Randi has devoted a lifetime to educating the public about the hucksters, and this book is just the tip of the iceberg. The James Randi Educational Foundation even offers a cool million to anyone who can prove they have abilities that defy current known laws of physics or biology.

He's not a cynic, he's not a debunker, he's just a guy that wants extraordinary evidence before believing extraordinary claims.

    Good book

A nice concise guide to many so-called mysteries. However Randi's heavy handed and self-righteous tone does the subject matter a significant disservice.

    Useless as a reference

The entire book is little more than a few lines of info on each topic with belittling or insulting coments. The few topics that are actually written in depth are done so only so that they can be ripped apart and stomped on. Some entries even have wrong or misleading information. Dont waste your money on this.
