    Great book . . . great price . . . great golf

Unquestionably the best golf book I have ever seen. I lowered my handicap from 26 to 9 in only a few months by following the instruction in this book. Believe it!

    Throw the rest away

I'm about to start my third year playing golf.My goal for my third year is to consistantly play in the 70's. When I tell poeple that they simply don't believe me.My last 4 or 5 rounds last year ranged from 84 to 88 all thanks to "the encyclopedia of golf techniques". Do as they say and put time in without the ball and the results will be there.

The best book on golf in years.

This book was very well written, easy to understand and the photograghs showed every aspect of the game. As a beginner I found this book particularly helpful, but could also see how a more advanced golfer would benefit from the detailed instructions, advice, and plentiful tips. I have already recommended it to most of my golfing friends, and my son who is ten, and just started playing the game.

THROW AWAY YOUR OTHER GOLF BOOKS!

I started playing golf 3 1/2 years ago at the advanced age of 49. As you would guess, I have read a zillion golf books and tried to translate what was written and illustrated into my own game on the course. It didn't work. A friend gave me this book and insisted I read it. What do you know? At last golf made perfect sense! I have applied what I've learned in this thoughtful, thought-provoking volume and it is amazing how much my game has improved. They tell players to use only one instructor, right? Well, I am telling all players to use only one book--this is the one!

    It Works!

I was close to giving up on golf instruction books because they're dry and boring and, for me at least, the techniques never seemed to work and in fact made my game worse. But this book is way different. It's a good read, and clear, and insightful. Even if I never picked up a club again, I'm glad I read it. But I've been using this book as my guide for a couple of months now and I'm consistently saving strokes. This is one golf instruction book that really works.
