    Greatly appreciated present!

I gave this to my niece as a Christmas gift. With the help of her mother, she made some beautiful things that she in turn presented to others during the holiday season. According to my sister, this scrapbooking book and subsequent items found around the house (i.e. photos) and inexpensive kits and materials purchased in fabric stores and B&N kept my niece entertained for weeks while making various projects for family and friends. It is difficult shopping for others, especially a young uncle like me buying for teenage nieces and God-children. This time, I think I found the perfect gift. The information in this book keeps on giving by its use as referrence.

Highly Recommended! Wonderful Book: explains, shows examples and details.

This is a wonderful book for everyone, whether you scrapbook, make cards, etc. The book is an encyclopedia on all scrapbook terms, technology and equipement. All the pages are in colored with tons of pictures and descriptions. I've checked this book out many times from the library and decided that it is time to buy it. I would recommended to have this book in your own personal library.

    Information from experts

I love to get as much information as possible about scrapbooking and this was right up my alley. It is very comprehensive. It's not up to the minute, but it has all the basics and then some. I got some ideas to make new embellishments and layouts and I learned a lot about photography and making sure my scrapbooks and photos would last a long time. The history of scrapbooking was very interesting and I especially liked the references to Louisiana in the history. I'm also going to keep my eye out for old scrapbooks when I visit flea markets. The book was well worth my money and my time.

    Good for scrapbooking and more!

Someday I want to get my photos out of the shoebox, off the computer and put in a book I can enjoy in comfort in my favorite chair! Not quite sure where to begin, as soon as I saw this book it was a must have! Not only will it help me with preserving my memories, I was more excited about the almost overwhelming rush of ideas I received for my main addiction of cardmaking! The tips, techniques and ideas can be carried over into other areas of crafting also. The information in this book is priceless, I highly recommend it to everyone! Don't be surprised if you go back and get a few more to give to family and friends so you won't have to share yours!
