This encyclopedia is a very comprehensive resource on most of the operational military aircraft types in service as of the late 1990's. Most of the content is based on material previously published in the prestigious World Air Power Journal. The photographs and color-profiles are really top-notch; and the data is fairly accurate. The encylopedia claims to give full information on all operators of a given type; I found this to be rather inaccurate. Still, it is a terrific resource to have if you have to now what a Su-22M looks like or what the dimensions of an F-111 is. I can not really emphasize how beautiful the photos and the color profiles are-It definitely is worth the price for all aviation enthusiasts.
