Overview

Humans have long been concerned with the ultimate clash of civilizations, but never more so than now. Religious wars, global terrorism, and genocide have all helped to usher in the Anxiety Age. Who better to lead the way out than popular psychic Sylvia Browne?

In End of Days, Browne tackles the most daunting of subjects with her trademark clarity, wisdom, and serenity, answering such difficult questions as: What's coming in the next fifty years? The Mayan calendar predicts the world will end in 2012-but what will really happen? What do the great prophecies of Nostradamus and the Book of Revelation mean? If the world is really going to end, what will unfold in our final hours?

For anyone who's ever wondered where we're headed, and what-if anything-we can do to prevent a catastrophe of biblical proportions, End of Days is a riveting and insightful must-read.

    Incredible Concrete Predictions

I think we have all encountered the 'so-called psychics' who tell us 'I have your grandmother here and she tells me to tell you that she loves you very much' or 'I see the man of your dreams . . .' If that is your experience, you are in for a very pleasant surprise when you read Sylvia Browne's END OF DAYS. Eye-popping predictions with rich details and concrete dates. Regardless of your political or religious beliefs, this is a must read for anyone concerned or even interested in the future of our planet. We are all in this together. And it isn't necessarily too late to make individual choices that can change our collective future. Mayan Calendar, Nostradamus, Global Warming, the Rapture, and the End of Days. A real page turner that must be reread to absorb all the information included. And everything is fully explained in a clear, concise and straight-forward style that is pure Sylvia Browne.

    A smart spiritual read

Browne pens an engaging novel that takes a look at the end of days and what we can expect through her psychic's perspective. The end of days has been a hot topic recently since the end of the Mayan calendar is fastly approaching - 21 Dec 2012. Browne takes a realistic look at the end of days and what we can expect. The novel starts with Browne examining some ancient beliefs of the end of the world. She talks about what Christianity says, looking at the rapture, as well as other cultures including the Mayans and Aztecs. Her studies of the various religions and cultures are interesting and informative. Her look at Catholicism and its approach to the end of days is worth reading just for that. Her background and insights on Father Pio gives the reader pause to think. Bowne then dives into what various prophets have said about the end of the world. She looks at prophets who include Edgar Cayce, Helena Blavatsky, HG Wells, Nostradamus, and even Grigori Rasputin. What I enjoyed about this section is that Browne takes a compact look at these people giving just enough background to pique the reader's interest and sum up their accomplishments. One of the most unsettling topics Browne addresses is doomsday prophets. She discusses several modern day doomsday cults that have taken religious writing and twisted it to fit their own warped agenda. This topic is very informative in what to look out for regarding these types of people who use the Bible for their own warped purposes. Lastly, Browne shares what she believes to be the end of days through her psychic vision. Her thoughts are not what you'd expect, and she discusses such topics as medical advances, unusual weather, and reincarnation. Her thoughts are fascinating, making the reader think about their own mortality and the legacy they will leave behind. Browne's writing is crisp, engaging, and with a topic like the end of days, will hold the reader's attention throughout. Browne's done her research and it shows. Though psychic, she gives an honest account of past doomsday scenarios and why they haven't worked. As she accurately points out in Matthew 24:36: "The day and hour no ones knows, not even the angels in Heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone." "End of Days" is raw, gritty, and fresh. By taking a look at our past, can we hope to make change for our future. This is a book that will sate the reader's natural curiosity about the end of days and offers hope. "End of Days" is another enjoyable read from Sylvia Browne.

    Sylvia Browne, End of days

If you are a fan of Sylvia Browne, she will not disappoint you with this book. I found it an easy read that kept me riveted for the next page.
Although I read this book some time ago, I had found some of the scenarios she predicted to be rather far fetched and wondered how that could ever come about. However, with the events in the recent news, I can see how they can, even though I still am wondering exactly how and tend to find them intriguing.

When I started to read Sylvia's books I had a list of life questions that my religion had not addressed or even tried to. As I continued to read my list grew shorter and shorter. Her explanations gave me a better understanding of life on earth and our role here. Readers new to Sylvia Browne may find this book entirely unbelievable so I recommend reading any of her other writings before tackling this one unless they have a very open mind to alternate views. Seasoned readers to her will already have previous information she shared as a better basis for understanding this book.

    Phenomenal Amount of Research

Ms. Browne has written a thoroughly researched book on what different cultures envision the end of the world will be like. I totally respect the enormous amount of study she did and it is truly great in that respect. However, it was so totally different from what I expected of Ms. Browne, that I was unable to read it. I tried and tried, but it left me totally disinterested. As far as I'm concerned, it was a waste of money unless you are looking for that particular type of book.
