I checked this book out of the library and I loved it. I've read all the other Wild at Heart books. The first books in this series were great. I loved them. Then the just sort of got worse, like Mrs. Anderson felt that she had to continue the series but really didn't have her heart there anymore. Then I read End of the Race and my opinions somewhat changed. This book is excellent. There are good descriptions and the charcters are well developed. It also has alot of information on grey hound races and the way vet clinics operate. I would definately recomand this book and if readers were as fed up as I was over the last few books don't give up until you've read this book. However I can't find a copy and reall y want to buy this book. If you have any information on how i can purchase a book I'd be really grateful.

The sample is like not even a page in any of the books. Im not going to buy a book if i cant see a page or two first. They are probably trying to get people to buy it and it could be stupid. I eventually read the series and it wasnt very good.

I LOVE all of the Wild At Heart Series. I want to be a vet when i get older and these books just tell u so0o0o0o0o much about animals and how to take care of them!! I dont think Mrs.Anderson should ever stop writing these books she should make a 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 and so on!! These books r just great for kids who love animals and for kids that are thinking about becoming a vet because it tells u what things u would have to do as a vet. I love these books and I never hated a single one Laurie Halse Andreson should never stop writing these books!!!!!

I think that these are the best books that i have ever read and it is about the only book that i will sit down and read until it is finished. I only takes me a few days to read unlike other books it takes me weeks to read them. It is still a really good book.

Out of all the Wild at Heart, End of the Race is by far the best of them all. If you think that just because it is published by American Girl, it's for girls, you're wrong. They have a boy volenteering for Wild at Heart animal clinc. I reccomend these series for both boys and girls.
