Meet the Author

On my Twitter profile I describe myself as an 'Englishman, lost in Spain', but it hasn't always been that way. I was lost long before I came to live in Spain.Addicted to writing for the last 8 years, I seriously smiled when my first publication - a short story based on my life - hit the #1 spot in Amazon.com's Law Enforcement.I'm now working on the next fifteen books, which include a six-book fantasy series based on Dreams. It's fair to say that I'm going to be around for a while.Welcome to Diem.

A descriptive story that gets you in the action fast

Military setting that starts out vividly describing a horrific accident from the authors actual happenings. We have all driven by or been jammed behind something like this, but the story gives you a chilling insight to how first responders see events unfold. It is an easy read and you will finish the book once started.

    Things I liked:
    - realistic because it is based on true events in the authors life
    - descriptive writing makes you feel like you are at the scene
    - short enough to get a good feel for how other stories will flow in the series without reading 300+ pages

    The downside:
    - I am not a big fan of profanity in print. Continual use of the the word F**K throughout takes away some of the edge for me, but this is a militaristic event in the 1st so it fits the lifestyle.

This was just a great short story. The biography of the author below is funny too. Back to the story though, it is well written and just flies along. It’s gritty and graphic and will make your heart pound. I can’t wait to see what is next.
