Overview

For most of her adult life, Captain Jorja Leeds has been a soldier waging wars and securing the best interstellar real estate for her government: The Union of the Americas. Jorja has now reached the apex of her career with being selected to serve in command of an elite "armored power suit unit" known as the Mechanized Combat Applications Group (MCAG), unit ODA-229. Captain Leeds' service becomes a blur of commanding ODA-229 from one off-world battlefield to another. Until, one day all of human space changes...

About the Author

William was born in Mississippi, but raised in northern Oklahoma and Albuquerque, New Mexico. He had the good fortune of being born in an era of great science fiction cinema, space exploration, and the emergence of video games, forging his interest in all things science fiction. For as long as he can remember, telling stories and imagining the future was his passion. The military became a lifelong interest since both of his grandfathers served in the US Army during World War II. After being raised in Oklahoma, William moved to Fort Worth, Texas to attend college, taking English, history, and film classes. There he would meet his future wife, and settle in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex.

William holds a BS in History and a minor in Education from Texas Wesleyan University and currently teaches Social Studies in a public Texas high school. In 2010, after writing his first military science fiction novel, William decided that there should be a place on the Internet to explore and explain the world of Military Sci-fi. This lead to the founding of the Military Sci-fi blog: FUTURE WAR STORIES. William continues to live in north Texas with his wife Jessica of 15 years, his daughter, Kimberly.
