Children's Literature
Children and even adults will pick up this attractive and interesting paperback immediately. It is good for research and for pleasure reading. The book pacts lots of information and photographs in a concise format. There are little pullouts of tiger pictures and a tiger design across the top of the pages. The information covers the five types of living tigers and explains their life cycle and habits. Pollution, habitat destruction, and poachers have helped make tigers an endangered species. The book includes a glossary, an index, and website suggestions for further research. This affordable book is part of the "Earth's Endangered Animals" series. 2004, Crabtree Publishing Company, Ages 8 to 10.
